Corps Parks at Grapevine Lake

Murell Park offers day use facilities, boat ramp access and tent camping, and pit toilet restrooms. This is the only park maintained by the Corps of Engineers on Grapevine Lake. All other parks have been leased out. Day Use and the Boat Ramp are FREE and are on a first come; first serve basis.

Murrell Park

Murrell Park offers two day use area’s that include first come first serve picnic tables, grills, and shade structures. These areas are located at the front boat ramp and at Tree in the Road day use area. The park has two lighted boat ramps with courtesy docks for varying lake conditions and trailer parking at each. Trail users can access the Northshore Trail from the park at the trailhead near the marina. 11 sites for tent camping are available by reservations at recreation.gov. Tent sites have picnic tables with shelter tops, fire pits, and stand up charcoal grills all as short walk from your vehicle. NO RV or Trailer camping is available in Murrell Park. There is a $14 daily fee for use of the tent camping sites. There is a 14 day limit per 30 consecutive day period. Camping is available every day of the year. There is one pit restroom available as well as communal water spigot, but no shower facilities. Murrell Park offers good shoreline access for fishermen with access to 8 separate fishing trails for bank fishing. Twin Coves Marina is also located in the park. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
