Undeveloped Camping Areas

Grapevine Lake offers undeveloped, or primitive, camping in Murrell Park. Camping is allowed on one of the 11 designated campsites only. Campsites do not have electricity or water. Fire rings are provided but may not be used when Denton County is under a burn ban. The campsites have access to port-a-potty d/or pit toilet facilities but no showers are provided in the park.
There is $10 per night fee to use primitive camping sites. Campers are allowed no more than 14 days of camping in a 30 day period.
No off-road vehicles are allowed. No hunting is allowed in the park. Campers are responsible for hauling out all trash and cleaning the campsite after use.
