Grapevine Lake offers group/organization camping at the Murrell Heritage Area at no charge in exchange for a service project. This area is for primitive camping only . A group/organization is defined as an administrative and functional structure (as a non-profit or business). To reserve camping a project plan must be submitted by the group/organization. A project plan consists of an acceptable natural resource protection plan, within the Grapevine Lake Project, to mitigate use of the sites for camping. Past projects include; shoreline clean up and campsite rehabilitation.Projects and reservations are submitted and approved through the Grapevine Lake Office. Project and reservation requests must be made no more than 4 weeks in advance and no less than 2 weeks prior to the requested use of the area.  Reservations are made after the completion of the service project.
