Located between Dallas and Fort Worth, our mission is to provide flood control to the Metroplex area, store and supply water to the cities of Dallas and Grapevine. We offer some of the best camping, fishing, and boating in Texas.

On Monday July 7, 2025, the City of Grapevine will begin construction on Fairway Drive to make repairs. Fairway Drive south of the entrance to Cowboys Golf Course and Silverlake Marina to SH 26 will be closed to traffic beginning that day. Cowboys Golf Course, Silverlake Marina, and the Grapevine Golf Course will be accessible from the north side of the dam, using a detour along SH 26, FM 2499, Lakeside Village Boulevard and then south along Fairway Drive. Fairway along this detour and over the dam will continue to have two-way traffic. Grapevine Lake Project office will be open to the public via a one-way road with entrance at SH 26. Please follow the flagman directions
