The Corps of Engineers at Waco Lake has leased areas that include: The Heart of Texas Model Airplane Club Area, Heart O' Texas Soccer Association Complex, The Waco Soccer Association Area, and Woodway Park.

Heart of Texas Model Airplane Area

The Heart of Texas Model Airplane area is a leased area which consists of 35 acres located off of Overflow Road, between Twin Bridges Park and the Waco Marina. Members of the group show their aviation skills by flying the remote controlled planes in great maneuvers and tricks.

Heart Of Texas Soccer Complex

The Heart Of Texas Soccer Complex is a leased area which consist of 28 acres which is located on Airport Road. The complex has a total of 17 soccer fields. These fields are used by children of all ages to learn and perfect their soccer skills.

The Waco Soccer Association is a leased area consisting of 19 acres, located on Airport Road.

Woodway Park

Woodway Park is located on the south side of the lake. From IH 35 take Hwy 6 North for about 4 miles, take the Bosque Blvd. exit, go left on Bosque Blvd. for about 1 mile to Estates Dr., go right on Estates Dr. 1 mile to the park entrance. The Corps of Engineers leases Woodway Park to the city of Woodway.
