Annual Day-Use Pass (ADUP)
- Cost is $40.00
- Sold at Comal Park and Canyon Beach at Canyon Lake
- Usable only at USACE day use facilities nation wide
- NOT valid for camping park facilities.
- You receive a hang tag that goes on your cars rear view mirror.
- Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- The Annual Day-Use Pass is non-transferable. You can not give it to someone else.
- Abuse of the ADUP may get you removed from the park for the day. One pass per vehicle.
America The Beautiful Pass Program
Army Corps of Engineer parks accept the Senior, Access, and Military versions of the America The Beautiful card. The standard card is not accepted at any USACE facilities and is only good at other federal park locations. Details about each card are below. Senior Pass
(beginning January 1, 2007)*The Senior Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are age 62 or older. There are two versions of the pass. One is good for life and the other is only good for a year from the date of purchace. You will need to show proof of age (such as a driver's license or identification card) to obtain a Senior Pass. The pass is non-transferable.
$80 - Lifetime Pass
$20 - Annual Pass
Senior Passes are available at FWS, NPS, BLM, USDA FS, and now USACE park locations also.
Military Pass
(beginning Summer 2012)*Click the link Military Pass for latest details on how to obtain the Military version of the annual pass. The pass is Free to active duty military; a CAC must be shown to obtain the card.
- Good ONLY for free day use parks.
- NOT good for discounts or free entry to camping parks.
- Avaliable through MWR on base or at Canyon Lake area parks.
Access Pass
(beginning January 1, 2007)*
The Access Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have a permanent disability. It is free and good for life. The pass provides discounts on Parks managed by federal agencies. Call the park or recreation area you are visiting to see what discount applies. The pass is non-transferable.
- Access Passes are available at FWS, NPS, BLM, USDA, FS, and now USACE locations.
- The Access Pass under the America the Beautiful Pass Program replaces the Golden Access Passport.
- Previously issued Golden Access Passport's will continue to be honored for the lifetime of the pass holder.

Golden Age and Golden Access Passports (DISCONTINUED AS OF 1 JAN 07)
Golden Age Passports will no longer be issued as of 1 Jan 2007. The Senior Pass under the America the Beautiful Pass Program (see information below) replaces the Golden Age Passport. Previously issued Golden Age Passport's will continue to be honored for the lifetime of the pass holder.
