Camping Fee Waiver

Camping Fee Waiver only for those on deployment leave.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will waive camping fees for active duty service personnel, and any current DoD civilians on mid or post deployment (reintegration) leave from duty. The intent is to recognize the selfless service of these individuals to our nation and the world by allowing them a chance to relax, and spend time with those they love.

Active service personnel, and DOD civilians on leave will be required to show their official identification with current leave orders upon arrival at the camp grounds to obtain the waiver. The leave orders MUST be for the time they are presented and not outdated. The gate attendant must see and varify your DOD ID and leave orders before you can receive a waiver.

The waiver we provide you will apply to all family members accompanying you on that visit. The waiver will be applied to camping fees.

State, local, and other managing entities of recreation areas located on Corps lands are encouraged, but are not required to comply with this waiver of fees in the areas they manage.
