Developed Camping Areas

Camping is by reservation only. Reservations may be made at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.

Canyon Lake is a popular camping destination during the summer season. Especially weekends. It is encouraged that visitors plan accordingly and make their reservations in advance.

Check-in / Check-out procedures

Check-in time for reservations is 3 pm and check-out time is 2pm. If you are departing, please make sure that your site is vacated before the 2 pm check-out time.

Potters Creek Park

Amenities and Features:

  • 7 screened camping shelters with water and 15-amp electrical outlets
  • waterborne restrooms with flush toilets

  • 2 sanitary dump stations
  • covered picnic tables
  • bbq grills
  • fire rings
  • designated swimming beach
  • 2 two lane concrete boat ramps with courtesy dock
  • 1 group camping area for reservation
  • fishing dock located outside of park
