Developed Camping Areas
Camping is by reservation only. Reservations may be made at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.
Canyon Lake is a popular camping destination during the summer season. Especially weekends. It is encouraged that visitors plan accordingly and make their reservations in advance.
Check-in / Check-out procedures
Check-in time for reservations is 3 pm and check-out time is 2pm. If you are departing, please make sure that your site is vacated before the 2 pm check-out time.
Potters Creek Park
Amenities and Features:
- 93 single back-in RV campsites with 50-amp electric and water
- 5 multiple RV, family campsites with 50-amp electric and water
- 10 tent only sites with water and 15-amp electric
- 7 screened camping shelters with water and 15-amp electrical outlets
- waterborne restrooms with flush toilets
- hot water showers
- 2 sanitary dump stations
- covered picnic tables
- bbq grills
- fire rings
- designated swimming beach
- 2 two lane concrete boat ramps with courtesy dock
- 1 group camping area for reservation
- fishing dock located outside of park

Cranes Mill Park

- 34 tent only sites with water
- waterborne restrooms with flush toilets
- hot water showers
- a sanitary dump station
- covered picnic tables
- bbq grills
- fire rings
- a 2-lane concrete boat ramp with courtesy dock
- fishing pier for camplers, located within the park
- a fishing dock located immediately outside of the park
