On weekends, holidays and when a park is at capacity, there are NO drive throughs allowed in any of the parks. You are welcome to visit any other day and drive through our camping parks.
Potter's Creek Park
Sunset at Potters Creek
Potter's Creek Park is a beautiful Class A park located on the northwest side of Canyon Lake that Includes modern RV and Tent camping amenities. The facilities include one hundred fourteen (114) modern RV campsites, seven (7) Screened Shelters, ten (10) designated tent camping sites, and five (5) Family Sites.
Hours: 8am -10pm
Facility: CAMPING and RV ONLY.
Not A Day Use Facility. Usage of Park by Paid Camping Guests Only!

Cranes Mill Park

Cranes Mill Park is a beautiful Class A facility with modern RV and Tent Camping sites. It is located on the Southwest shore of Canyon Lake at the end of FM 2673, just past the town of Startzville. It contains 30 RV sites, 34 tent sites, 3 restrooms, a boat ramp, boat dock, 2 fishing piers and water & electricity at most sites.

North Park
North Park as Viewed Top of Canyon Dam
Hours:
Closed: Monday through Thrusday.
Open: Friday and Saturday 9am -10pm. Sunday 9am - 2pm.
Facilities: Tent Camping Only. NO pop-ups, pull behind or RVs allowed!
Season: 1 April - 30 September

North Park is located on the North side of Canyon Lake Dam on North Park Road. There are 20 campsites (no RV hookups), vault toilets, no showers, no boat ramp. Each campsite includes a picnic table, a standing grill, and a fire ring. This is a popular park for scuba diving which is used for many local schools to train divers.
Guadalupe Trail Park

Usage of Guadalupe Park is free of charge.
Guadalupe Park is located below Canyon Dam along the first mile of the Guadalupe River. It features an ADA-accessible parking lot and trailway with fishing pier on the north side. A foot trail is available along the river on the south side of the park. The river can be accessed from the trails for fishing. Please have a state fishing license.The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) manages a hydropower plant along the north side of the river near the fishing pier. This stretch of the Guadalupe river is very popular as the State 's premier trout fishing stream. The Guadalupe River is the Southernmost sustainable trout fishery in the nation. No restroom, camping or picnic facilities are available in the park. Sometimes a portable toilet is provided. The nearest restroom facility is located at nearby Overlook Park near the southern end of Canyon Dam. Overlook Park closes at sunset daily.
Hancock Horse Trail

Useage of Horse Trail is free of charge.
Hancock Horse Trail is located on the north side of the lake off of FM 306. Access is open accept when it rains because the parking area becomes a mud hole to drive through. Parking area is NOT paved.
Overlook Park
DAY USE ONLY
Hours: 7am -Sunset Daily
Season: Open All Year

Overlook Park is on a hilltop at the south end of Canyon Dam and is the location of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers headquarters at Canyon Lake. The park offers a scenic view to Canyon Lake and Dam. There is access to the Verada Real walking trail across Canyon Dam. A restroom at the top of the hill and visitor parking is available. There are no camping or picnic facilities but you are welcome to hike and picnic.
The office for visitor information is open Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm, excluding Federal Holidays.
