Swimming

There are four areas throughout the parks that are designated for swimming only. The swim beaches consist of a fine gravel as opposed to the original rocky shoreline. The actual swimming areas are marked off by yellow floating tubes.

Friendship Park

The swim beach in Friendship Park is for day-use picnickers only. The beach is accompanied by shaded benches and Day Users can also picnic at any site within the day-use facility. For prices and more day-use information, please call the lake office at (325)625-2322.

Lakeside Park

One swim beach in is located between Screened Shelter A and site #1. The second beach is near Group Shelter # 8. These two swim beaches are only accessible for registered paid overnight campers. For more information on camping in Lakeside Park, please call Recreation One Stop at 1(877)444-6777.

Flatrock Park

The swim beach in Flatrock Park is located in Flatrock Area 1, below site # 109. This beach is only accessible for registered paid overnight campers. For more information on camping in Flatrock Park, please call Recreation One Stop at 1(877)444-6777.
