Hords Creek Dam is located in the Colorado River Basin on Hords Creek in the central part of Coleman County, Texas. The site is about 13.5 creek miles upstream from Coleman and may be reached by driving 8.7 miles west along Farm to Market Highway No. 153 from Coleman.
