Fishing at Lake Georgetown

This lake is known for its smallmouth bass fishing. There are several areas recommended for bank fishing. A fishing dock is provided in the picnic area and campground at Cedar Breaks Park and near the boat ramp at Jim Hogg Park. Other locations include Overlook Park ( ADA accessible ) and the stilling basin.

The lake contains black bass, smallmouth bass, white bass, hybrid stripers, white crappie, channel catfish, flathead catfish, blue catfish and many kinds of rough fish.
