The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District welcomes you to Lake Georgetown, located in Georgetown, Texas. Our mission: supply water to the cities of Georgetown and Round Rock, Brushy Creek MUD, provide flood risk management to the Georgetown area, and offer some of the best fishing, camping and boating in Texas.

January 27-February 7th, 2022 – JIM HOGG PARK WILL BE CLOSED TO VEHICLE AND PEDESTRIAN ACCESS. A youth hunt is scheduled to occur within the park during this time. Park entrance gates will be closed. The boat ramp, hiking trailhead, and fishing pier will not be accessible. Walking and biking into the park will not be allowed. The Goodwater Loop Hiking trail will remain open for thru traffic. Trail users must stay on the trail and are asked to remain quiet. Please allow our youth to have the best opportunity to reach our management goals.
