The Somerville Lake Office is located 1/2 mile west of downtown Somerville, Texas, off of State Hwy 36. Somerville Lake is less than 100 miles from the Houston area and less than 30 miles from the Bryan-College Station area. Somerville Lake boasts one of the highest attendance records in the US Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District, which is comprised of 25 Central and North Texas lakes.

• From Austin: Take US 290E to Brenham. Follow Highway 36N approximately 11.5 miles to FM 1948. Turn left. Follow FM 1948 approximately 2.5 miles. Turn right into park complex.
