We are currently accepting applications for Park Host and Park Host- Maintenance positions at Bardwell Lake.

Park Host - are needed year round to answer questions, help campers get settled, suggest things to do and places to go in the vicinity, and explain the campground regulations. They keep the campground neat, clean and attend to some minor repairs or maintenance as needed. Ambassadors represent the Corps to our visitors and need to have a positive friendly attitude and a willingness to work with the public.

Park Host Maintenance - are needed year round . We need individuals or couples willing to assist us in park maintenance and equipment upkeep. It is helpful to have experience in plumbing, carpentry, etc. Maintenance volunteers will assist in mowing parks, trimming trees and maintaining equipment used by all our volunteers. Maintenance volunteers may also install or repair signs, boundary fences, trails, or other projects as needed.

Important information for all positions:

Special Skills Needed: Positive attitude and outgoing personalities along with a desire to work as part of a team to reach our goals and "Make A Difference".

All on-site Volunteers work a minimum of 20 hrs per week and are provided a campsite (electricity and water hook-ups, limited full hook-up sites) during their commitment to our team, however, must have their own self contained RV. Time commitments are flexible but we prefer those who can commit for 3-6 months.
