Corps Parks at Navarro Mills Lake

There are five developed park areas at Lake Navarro Mills. The available facilities are described in each park section:

Liberty Hill Park

Located in north central Texas, Liberty Hill Park is located on the southwestern shore of Navarro Mills Lake. The park is located just north of Dawson, Texas and can be accessed by travelling about 4 miles north of Dawson on FM 709. Liberty Hill Park offers 99 campsites with water and electricity. Five of the sites have screen shelters, fourteen have sewer hookups, and there are three primitive campsites with no hookups. There are two boat ramps, a fishing dock, marina, playground and swim beach in the park. For more detailed information, you may visit the Developed Camping Areas page.

Important Information

The gatehouse is located at the park entrance and is open for business between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. The gate attendants live on site and are available in cases of emergencies 24 hours per day. All user fees are collected at the gatehouse.

Additional Restrictions

  1. Pets must be kept on leash while in the park.
  2. Vehicles are restricted to authorized roadways or parking areas only.
  3. Off-road vehicles may not be operated on any of the government property at Navarro Mills Lake.
  4. Fires are restricted to designated areas only.
  5. There are no picnic sites in Liberty Hill Park. A camping permit must be purchased to occupy any of the sites.

The following fees are only charged to members of the public who have not paid the standard camping fees.

Wolf Creek Park

Located in north central Texas, Wolf Creek Park is located on the north shore of Navarro Mills Lake. Wolf Creek Park offers 50 campsites with water and electric service, 20 non-electric campsites, 2 non-electric double campsites, public restrooms and showers, group shelter, fishing pier and a two lane boat ramp with a courtesy dock. The park is open from April 1st through September 30th each year and can be reached by travelling about three miles north on FM 667 from the intersection with state highway 31 to FM 639. Turn west (left) on FM 639 and go about two miles to Wolf Creek Park (FM 639 ends at Wolf Creek Park entrance). For more detailed information, you may visit the Developed Camping Areas page.

Oak Park

Located in north central Texas, Oak Park is located on the northeastern shore of Navarro Mills Lake. Oak Park offers 48 campsites with water and electric service, a group shelter, designated swimming area and playground, fishing pier, public restrooms and a boat ramp. There is also a separate day-use area open April - September with picnic tables, restrooms, and a swimming beach. For more detailed information, you may visit the Developed Camping Areas page.

Located in north central Texas, Pecan Point Park is located on the north shore of Navarro Mills Lake. Pecan Point Park offers 5 campsites with water and 50 amp electric service, 30 sites without hookups, public restrooms and a dump station. The park is open April 1 - September 30. Located in north central Texas, Brushie Prairie Park is a non-fee park open year-round and located on the north shore of Navarro Mills Lake. Brushie Prairie Park offers 10 picnic sites, a two lane boat ramp and a vault toilet restroom. Water and electric services are not provided in Brushie Prairie Park.
