Hunting at Navarro Mills Lake
Hunting at Navarro Mills Lake is permitted for the species identified and regulations that are set forth in the Fort Worth District Hunting Guide.
Seasons and bag limits are followed in accordance with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department regulations for Navarro and Hill Counties.

NOTICE
* Target shooting is prohibited on government property at Navarro Mills Lake.
* The WMA between Wolf Creek and Brushie Prairie Park is
closed
to all hunting. Fishing is still authorized.
* Hog hunting does not require a permit; however, it is restricted to archery only during deer season.
* White-tailed deer hunting is by archery only and requires a permit. Please note that the application and post-season survey process has recently changed to an online process.
White-Tailed Deer Archery Hunting Program
The 2025-2026 Deer Hunting Permit Application will be available August 01 - September 26 at the link provided below. Please allow 5-7 days for application processing. Approved applicants will receive a digital permit by email that can be printed or saved to their phone. Deer hunters must have proof of permit at all times while on Navarro Mills Lake hunting property. Vehicle tags are no longer required.
