NOTICE

* Target shooting is prohibited on government property at Navarro Mills Lake.
* The WMA between Wolf Creek Park and Brushie Prairie Park is closed to all hunting. Fishing is still authorized.
* Hog hunting does not require a permit. However, hog hunting is restricted to archery only during the Whitetail Deer season.

Application

For a 2023-2024 Deer Application - download the deer hunting permit , fill the application completely, include a copy of Hunter’s Education and a self-addressed stamped envelope, and mail it to: Hunting Program, 1175 FM 667, Purdon, TX 76679. Applications must be turned in or postmarked by Sept 22nd, 2023.
*Any applicants who received a permit for the 2022-2023 season must have submitted a hunter survey by May 31st, 2023 to be eligible for this season. New applicants do not need a survey on file.

Hunter Survey

Each hunter for this season must submit the hunter survey by the 31st of May 2024 to be eligible for the next hunting season - download the deer hunting survey fill it out completely and mail it to: Hunting Program, 1175 FM 667, Purdon, TX 76679.


HOG TRAPPING PERMIT


Regulations

Navarro Mills Lake issues a limited number of feral hog trapping permits based on the management needs of government property. All other trapping is prohibited.
Applicants must review and acknowledge the Navarro Mills Lake Feral Hog Trapping Rules and Regulations before submitting an application.

Application

To apply, download the 2023-2024 Feral Hog Trapping Application . Fill out completely, include a copy of Hunter’s Education, and mail to: Hunting Program, 1175 FM 667, Purdon, TX 76679. Applications must be turned in or postmarked by September 15th, 2023.
