Liberty Hill Park


General Information

Located in north central Texas, Liberty Hill Park is located on the southern shore of Navarro Mills Lake. The park is located about four miles north of Dawson, TX. Liberty Hill Park offers 99 campsites with water and electric hookups, of which 5 are screen shelters and 6 have sewer hookups, and 3 campsites with no hookups. There are two boat ramps, a fishing dock, marina, playground and swim beach.

A gatehouse is located at the park entrance and is open for business between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm. The gate attendants live on site and are available in cases of emergencies 24 hours per day. All user fees are collected at the gatehouse.

All gates close at 10:00 pm. A night exit is available for campers who leave after 10:00 pm.

Restrictions

Maximum number of occupants per campsites is 8.
Maximum number of camping structures per campsite is 2.
Example (1 RV and 1 tent, or 2 tents)
Two RV's may not share a campsite.
Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm and end at 6:00 am.
Visitor and Day Use hours end promptly at 9:00pm.

Directions

From Waco or Corsicana, Texas. Take State Highway 31 to Dawson, turn north onto FM 709 and travel about four miles to the park entrance. Please note that if you are coming from the direction of Waco, you will pass FM 709 before you get to Dawson. Do not turn at the first intersection with FM 709, but proceed into Dawson and turn left at the second intersection with FM 709 (across from the Jiffy Mart).

Oak Park

General Information

Located in north central Texas, Oak Park is located on the northeastern shore of Navarro Mills Lake. Oak Park offers 48 campsites with water and electric service, a group shelter, designated swimming area and playground, fishing pier, public restrooms and a boat ramp. There is also a separate day-use area open April - September with picnic tables, restrooms, and a swimming beach.

A gatehouse is located at the park entrance and is open for business between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm. The gate attendants live on site and are available in cases of emergencies 24 hours per day. All user fees are collected at the gatehouse.

Directions

From Waco or Corsicana, Texas. Take State Highway 31 to the intersection with FM 667 (about 3 miles east of Dawson, TX). Turn north on FM 667 and travel about 1.5 miles to the park entrance which is on the west (left) side of the road.

Pecan Point Park

General Information

Located in north central Texas, Pecan Point Park is located on the north shore of Navarro Mills Lake. Pecan Point Park offers 5 campsites with water and 50 amp electric service, 30 sites without hookups, public restrooms, a shower facility and a dump station. The park is open April 1 - September 30.

A gatehouse is located at the park entrance and is open for business between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm. The gate attendants live on site and are available in cases of emergencies 24 hours per day. All user fees are collected at the gatehouse.

All gates close at 10:00 pm. A night exit is available for campers who leave after 10:00 pm.

Wolf Creek Park

General Information

Located in north central Texas, Wolf Creek Park is located on the north shore of Navarro Mills Lake. Wolf Creek Park offers 50 campsites with water and electric service, 20 non-electric campsites, 2 non-electric double campsites, public restrooms and showers, group shelter, fishing pier and a two lane boat ramp with a courtesy dock. The park is open from April 1st through September 30th each year and can be reached by travelling about three miles north on FM 667 from the intersection with state highway 31 to FM 639. Turn west (left) on FM 639 and go about two miles to Wolf Creek Park (FM 639 ends at Wolf Creek Park entrance).
