Directions to Lake O' the Pines

From Dallas take Interstate 30 east to Mt. Pleasant and then south on State Highway 49 to Daingerfield; Continue south on US 259 past Lone Star then east on FM 729 down north side of the lake to FM 726 then west to the dam.

From Dallas you may also take Interstate 20 east to Longview, then US 259 north past New Diana then FM 726 east through its curves and turns down the south shore to the dam.

From Shreveport take Interstate 20 west to Marshall then north on US 59 to Jefferson then west on State Highway 49, 4 miles to FM 729, 4 miles to FM 726 and west 2 miles to the dam.
