Swimming at Stillhouse Hollow Lake

Swimming is allow at Stillhouse Hollow lake outside of restricted areas, though, for your safety, it is highly recommended that swimming is conducted at designated swim beaches. Swimming, wading, snorkeling or scuba diving at one's own risk is permitted, except at boat launching sites, designated mooring points and public docks, or other areas so designated by the District Commander. An international diver down, or inland diving flag must be displayed during underwater activities. Diving, jumping or swinging from trees, bridges or other structures which cross or are adjacent to project waters is prohibited. Be safe and wear a Life Jacket!!

Designated Swim Beach Locations

Dana Peak Park

In addition to camping, Dana Peak Park provides a day-use area with 32 covered picnic tables with cookers for picnicking located in the beach area. There are restroom facilities, a swim beach and boatramp near this area.

Stillhouse Park

This park has 38 picnic sites that are located in the beach area with water access from each site as well as access to the swimming beach. Swimming and picnic areas are open from March 1 until December 1.

Union Grove Park

A designated swim beach is available to registered campers and their guests in Union Grove Park. The beach is located at the north end of the campground.
