Discount Passes

The Corps of Engineers accepts the Golden Age and Golden Access passports and the America the Beautiful Senior and Access passes as valid for discounts for camping fees. No other documentation will be accepted as proof of age or disability for the purpose of receiving discounts at Corps of Engineers parks.

As of January 1, 2007 the Corps is no longer issuing any Golden Age or Golden Access passports. Existing passports may still be used until they are lost, defaced or stolen. Replacements, America the Beautiful passes, must be obtained from a participating federal agency (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Forest Service, National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the Bureau of Reclamation).

Day Use Passes:

Annual Day-Use Pass - Hang Tag for vehicle

  1. The Annual Day-Use pass hang tag is available for $40.00 and is valid for 12 months (ending the last day of the purchase month, one year later).
  2. The pass covers entrance to U.S. Army Corps of Engineer run parks.
  3. Annual Day-Use Passes are available at the Stillhouse Hollow Lake Office or at other U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facilities.
  4. This pass permits you to use the boat ramps, picnic areas, swim beaches, etc. without paying an additional fee at U.S. Army Corps of Engineer run parks.
  5. The pass is non-transferable.

America the Beautiful Pass Program

America the Beautiful passes can be obtained by visiting the Stillhouse Hollow Lake Office . The passes can also be obtained online via the link below.

Annual Pass - Interagency

Valid for one full year from month of purchase (through last day of that month).

  • Allows pass owner and accompanying passengers in a single, private, non-commercial vehicle to enter Federally operated recreation sites across the country.
  • Covers the pass owner and three (3) accompanying adults age 16 and older at sites where per person entrance fees are charged. No entry fee charged for children 15 and under.
  • Photo identification will be required to verify ownership.
  • Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • US military and their dependents qualify for a FREE Annual Pass. Learn more !

The Senior Pass

  1. The Senior Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are age 62 or older.
  2. There is a one-time charge of $10 for this lifetime pass or $20 if obtained via mail order through USGS Store.
  3. The pass provides free entrance to most federal recreation areas and provides a 50% discount on use fees, such as camping fees.
  4. Senior Passes are available for purchase at Live Oak Ridge Park.
  5. The passses can be obtained from BLM, USBR, FWS, USFS, NPS, and USACE locations. You will need to show proof of age (such as a driver's license or identification card) to obtain the Senior Pass.
  6. The pass is non-transferable.
  7. The Senior Pass replaces the Golden Age Passport.Golden Age Passport's will continue to be honored for the lifetime of the pass holder. Senior Pass

Access Pass

  1. The Access Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have a permanent disability.
  2. The pass is free and is good for life at issuing site or $10 if obtained via mail order through USGS Store.
  3. It provides free entrance to most federal recreation areas and provides a 50% discount on use fees, such as camping fees.
  4. Access Passes are available for purchase at the Belton or Stillhouse Lake Office.
  5. The passses can also be obtained from BLM, USBR, FWS, USFS, NPS, and USACE locations.
  6. The pass is non-transferable.
  7. The Access Pass replaces the Golden Access Passport.Golden Access Passport's will continue to be honored for the lifetime of the pass holder.

Every Kid Outdoors 4th Grade Pass

Every Kid Outdoors 4th Grade Pass

  • Free
  • Available to U.S. 4th Graders (including home-schooled and free-choice learners 10 years of age). Educators can also be involved! Learn more at the Every Kid Outdoors website .
  • The pass is valid for the duration of the 4th grade school year through the following summer (September - August).
  • Must have a paper voucher printed from the Every Kid Outdoors website to obtain the Annual 4th Grade Pass. Digital versions of the voucher (such as smart phones or tablets) will not be accepted.
  • Covers entrance to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Park Service sites that charge Entrance Fees , and Standard Amenity Fees at Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and US Army Corps of Engineers sites.
  • Admits the pass owner and any accompanying passengers in a private non-commercial vehicle at a per vehicle fee area, or the pass owner and up to 3 adults at sites that charge per person.
  • Non-transferable

Volunteer Pass

Volunteer Pass

  1. Annual Pass awarded to volunteers who contribute 250 or more hours.
  2. Valid for entrance fees and standard amenity recreation day use fees for all Federal recreational lands and waters (for FLMA Federal Land Management Agency) and USACE.

Golden Age & Access Passports

Golden Age & Access Passports (Honored at all Parks)

  1. Golden Age Passports are no longer issued.
  2. The Senior Pass and Access Pass under the America the Beautiful Pass Program replaces the Golden Age Passport.
  3. Previously issued Golden Age Passport's will continue to be honored for the lifetime of the pass holder.
