Primitive Camping Areas


There are 8 primitive tent camping sites (T1-T8) located along the shoreline at Dana Peak Park. There are no utilities at the sites but potable water is available in the park. Parking is within walking distance to the campsites. The park also offers waterborne restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, a desingated swimming beach, a fishing dock outside the park, picnic facilities, a 4 lane boat ramp with courtesy dock, easy access to the Dana Peak hike & bike trail system and a day-use group shelter for reservation. Stillhouse Hollow ake is a popular camping destination during the summer season. Especially on weekends. It is encouraged that visitors plan accordingly and make their reservations in advance.

Camping is by reservation only. Reservations may be made at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.

Check-in / Check-out procedures

Check-in time for reservations is 3 pm and check-out time is 2pm. Gate codes for the camp ground are on your confirmation email from Recreation.gov. If you are departing, please make sure that your site is vacated before the 2 pm check-out time.
