Our mission: supply water to the cities of Georgetown and Round Rock, Brushy Creek MUD, provide flood control to the Georgetown area, and offer some of the best fishing, camping and boating in Texas.

Lake Georgetown will be partnering with Safe Kids and Colin’s Hope to promote water safety and drowning prevention this Saturday, August 2nd from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.  The event will take place at the swim area at Russell Park.  Fees will be waived during the time of the event to encourage more participation.  Visitors to the park will get the opportunity to learn important safety tips geared towards open water – such as lakes, rivers, and pools.  Booths will be set up with games, activities, and free give-a-ways!  So bring your family out to Russell Park this Saturday!
