Our mission: supply water to the cities of Georgetown and Round Rock, Brushy Creek MUD, provide flood risk management to the Georgetown area, and offer some of the best fishing, camping and boating in Texas.

Be Safe & Wear Your Life Jacket!


Visitors of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lake Georgetown project, please be area that we will be temporary closed Cedar Breaks Park and Russell Park entirely for scheduled youth hunts on the following dates:

November 12th - November 17th, 2025 & January 19th - Janurary 26th, 2026

During this time, and for public safety, vehicular and pedestrian traffic is prohibited, including but not limited to walk-ins, bike-ins, and day-use facility usage and/or campground access. Pleae call the Lake Georgetown Office at (512) 930-2283 for any questions pertaining to this important update.

Lake Georgetown will be parterning with the City of Georgetown Fire Department to conduct prescribed burns around Lake Georgetown, as conditions allow, between November 2, 2025 to March 31, 2026. These planned prescribed burns are in effort toward reduction of fuel loading next to urban developments, environmental stewardship, and public safety.

Lake Georgetown no longer accepts cash payments for any USACE operated campground or boat ramp. If you need assistance, please contact us at (512) 930-5253. We appreciate your cooperation.

America the Beautiful Access, Military Annual and Senior, Every Kid Outdoors, and Annual Corps Passes are available at the Lake Georgetown Project Office, Monday-Friday.
