Camping is permitted only at designated sites.  Each individual campsite is restricted to no more than ten persons and two camping structures. Only one of the structures may be a recreational vehicle, travel trailer, pop-up camper, etc. For example, campers may have two tents or one tent and one recreational vehicle, but a recreational vehicle and a travel trailer may not occupy the site at the same time. Vehicles parked at a campsite should not exceed the physical limitations of the site. Overflow parking areas are provided in each park for extra vehicles.

A permit is required for events or activities occurring in the park, including but not limited to bounce houses, water slides, weddings, tournaments, bands, DJs, church functions, etc. Swimming pools of any size are not allowed. Nothing may be tied, attached, nailed, etc., to any tree or other vegetative growth. Contact Lake Office at 972-875-5711 for more information.Click here for a Lake Activity Request form. Lake Activty Request forms may be mailed to: US Army Corps of Engineers, 4000 Observation Dr. Ennis, TX 75119

Pitch your tent on a tent pad if one is available at your campsite.  You may put the tent directly on the ground if a pad is not provided.  We ask that campers refrain from digging trenches in the ground or placing pegs into any blacktop or paved surfaces.

Hanging gas or propane lanterns on trees can kill or do serious damage to them.  Help us preserve the natural beauty of our parks by hanging lanterns on posts built for that purpose or in another safe place away from the trees.
