NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAYvolunteers
Saturday, September 25, 2010, at 9 a.m.

We welcome Waco area residents to join the US Army Corps of Engineers, Keep Waco Beautiful, and the City of Waco in the largest annual coast-to-coast, single-day volunteer restoration effort for America’s public lands.  Local volunteers will roll up their sleeves and devote their day to habitat enhancement work at Waco Lake Parks and the Waco Wetlands as part of the annual National Public Lands Day (NPLD) on Saturday, September 25th.  The event will last from 9am-noon. Snacks will be provided.

Directions:
3201 North Highway 6 on the West Shore of the lake.  From I-35 take Hwy 6 north for about 6 miles, take Speegleville Park exit, continue to park entrance.
