Town Bluff Lake-National Public Lands Day (NPLD): On Saturday, 24 September, 2011, Town Bluff Project hosted a River Campsite Clean-Up as part of National Public Lands Day. Seventeen volunteers donated 60 hours of their time to the clean up, with several driving 3+ hours to participate. All ten campsites were cleaned and trimmed up, with one picnic table and four new fire rings also being installed. Around 177 pounds of trash was picked up from the sites and surrounding areas.
