B.A. Steinhagen/Town Bluff has 13 boat ramps available for boaters to use while enjoying the lake. The Corps of Engineers operates 7 boat ramps, Texas Parks and Wildlife runs 5 and Jasper County maintains one. Most require a launch fee, some are free. Click here for more details.

Currently, TPWD (409-384-5231) offers canoe rentals and is located on Hwy 190 in Martin Dies Jr. State Park, Hen House Unit.

An accessible Canoe Dock is located at Sandy Creek Park.

Boaters are strongly encouraged to take a Texas Parks and Wildlife boating safety course before heading out onto the water. All boaters should be familiar with boating state laws and should be sure that their vessels include all necessary safety equipment.
