Town Bluff Project - May 2013
- Lake level is now back to normal (82.5' above msl), and all boat ramps are open.
- All parks are open (except camping loop of Campers Cove).
-Kid's Fish Day to be held June 1, 2013. Call 409-429-3491 for more details.
- Herbicide spraying for control of nuisance aquatic vegetation will begin in late April and continue through October. The previous seasons of spraying and the recent cold weather have the lake in relatively good shape, but there is still much to do to keep it that way. Please give the airboat spray crews plenty of room and a wave when you see them, and if you notice any Giant Salvinia, especially in the remote areas of the lake and rivers, please call the office at 409-429-3491. This program is a cooperative effort with the Lower Neches Valley Authority, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and the Corps of Engineers.
