All reservations for Proctor Lake can be made at recreation.gov . Reservations must be made online and cannot be made at the gatehouses!



Sowell Creek Park

Sowell Creek Park offers excellent opportunities for you to enjoy the outdoors. The park boasts 61 campsites, three restroom/shower facilities, one boat ramp, and one fishing pier. Sowell Creek Park has three day-use areas that are located next to the campgrounds. Within the day-use locations, guests can find swim beaches, picnic sites, restroom/shower facilities, a playground, fishing piers, and a boat ramp to access the lake!

Copperas Creek Park

Copperas Creek Park offers an excellent venue to enjoy the outdoors. The park contains 66 campsites, four restroom/shower facilities, two group shelters, two boat ramps, two fishing piers, and a swim beach. Copperas Creek Park's day-use area is a short drive from the campgrounds and has 12 picnic sites, as well as a swim beach, a fishing platform, and a boat ramp.

Promontory Park

Promontory Park boasts beautiful camping grounds and provides easy access to the lake! The park has 99 camping/picnic sites, six restroom/shower facilities, four group shelters, five screen shelters, two boat ramps, and one fishing pier. Promontory Park has one day-use area, on the northern side of the park, that has a restroom/shower facility, several picnic sites, and a swim beach.

Please note that Promontory Park is fully open to the public from 1 April - 30 September. However, from 1 October - 31 March, the park is closed with the exception of the day-use area.

High Point Park

This park is closed to overnight camping without a special use permit. The park is open for fishing along the shores, picnicking, and use of the volunteer-developed equestrian trails.

Trails can be accessed from the large day-use parking lot located at the park's entrance. No motorized vehicles of any type are allowed in High Point Park.

There are no restrooms or utilities available in this park. High Point is a facility that requires no entry fee.
