Volunteer Opportunities

Navarro Mills Lake is currently seeking volunteers to assist with park cleaning, perform minor maintenance, help with lawn care and landscaping projects, provide assistance to park visitors and collect user fees. Please contact volunteer coordinator Park Ranger Joshua Brown at the lake office if you are interested in providing any of these valuable services. It is required that prospective volunteers provide information and consent necessary to pass a thorough background investigation. This is required of all volunteers that provide services to water resources development projects operated and maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Navarro Mills Lake will be hosting a National Public Lands Day event on September 24, 2011. We will be working on a new hiking trail in Wolf Creek Park. Please contact the Navarro Mills Lake office for more information.
