Trails at Grapevine Lake

Grapevine Lake offers trails for hikers, equestrians and mountain bikers. Hikers are welcome on all trails; Knob Hills and Northshore is designed for mountain biking (NO HORSES) with segments ranging from beginner to difficult. Rocky Point Trail, Crosstimbers Trail and Walnut Grove Trail are equestrian trails (no horses provided , and NO BIKES). Please remember that all Horse and Bike trails are closed to equestrian and bike traffic when wet and muddy conditions are present. Foot traffic is allowed at all times unless specifically indicated.

Dogs are welcome on the trails but MUST be on a leash at all times and you must pick up your dogs waste.

Maps of most trails are available at the Grapevine Lake Project Office located at 110 Fairway Drive, Grapevine, TX 76051. If you have any questions about trails please contact us at (817) 865-2600 and ask to speak with a Park Ranger.

Horses are NOT allowed on bike trails.
