Boating at Grapevine Lake

Grapevine Lake is a very popular lake for boating, especially sailboating. Visitors may access the lake by using one of several boatramps located around the lake. Three marinas at Grapevine Lake offer both wet and dry storage for boats. Marinas may also offer boats and personal watercraft for rent; prices and availability will vary.

As of September 1, 2011 new laws require anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 are required to complete a boater education course to operate a vessel. For more information on this new law and for information on upcoming classes please Click Here.

Boathouses are authorized on Grapevine Lake. However, permits for creating new boathouses is not authorized. Existing boathouses cannot be moved. For more information on boathouses please contact our office at 817-865-2600 and as to speak with a Ranger.
