Cedar Breaks and Russell parks both offer covered picnic areas. Each site contains a picnic table and grill. Cedar Breaks Park is open year around and the picnic area hours are from 6:00 am until sunset. Russell Park is open from April 1 - September 30 from 6:00 am until sunset. There is a fee associated with the swimming beach at Russell Park and Cedar Breaks picnic area.  Limited space is available. BBQ pits are not allowed on the Russell swim beach.

Cedar Breaks Park has 41 picnic sites. Parking is limited, especially on busy weekends.

Russell Park has 39 picnic sites (10 of these are located at the swim beach without grills).
BBQ pits are not allowed on the swim beach.
