Cedar Breaks Park has 64 campsites with water and electric hookups. Each site has an approximate 55' back in parking pad, covered picnic table,firering, and grill. Single sites accommodate up to 8 people per site with two pieces of camping equipment. Campers are limited to two vehicles per campsite pad. A $4.00 vehicle fee will be charged per extra vehicle and overflow parking is provided. A dump station is provided for the disposal of wastewater and the restrooms have hot showers and flush toilets. The gates close at 10:00pm and do not reopen until 6:00am the following morning. Cedar Breaks Park also has a day use area with 41 covered shelters. Day use hours are 6:00am - sunset.
Beginning March 1, 2013 Jim Hogg Park reservations will be site specific.
Jim Hogg Park has 148 sites with water and electric hookups. Each site has an approximate 55' back in parking pad, covered table, firering, and grill. Single sites accommodate up to 8 people per site with two pieces of camping equipment. Double sites accomodate up to 16 people per site. Campers are limited to two vehicles per single and four vehicles per double campsite pad. A $4.00 vehicle fee will be charged per extra vehicle and overflow parking is provided. A dump station is provided for the disposal of wastewater and the restrooms have hot showers and flush toilets. The gates close at 10:00pm and do not reopen until 6:00am the following morning.
Russell Park has 17 tent camping only and 10 Screened Shelter sites without electric and water hookups open year around. Each site has a covered picnic table, firering, and grill. Sites accommodate up to eight people and have parking for one vehicle in front of the site. Restrooms are running water with showers. The gates close at 10:00pm and do not reopen until 6:00am the following morning. Russell Park day use area has a swim area which features a washed pebble beach. There are 39 shelters in the day use area available at this time on a first-come, first-served basis. Only 10 of these shelters are located at the swim beach area. The Russell Park day use area is open April 1 to September 30. Day-use hours are 6:00am - sunset.
Tejas Camp offers primitive camping that is accessible by vehicle. The park has 12 "tent only" and 1 "tent only" group area site with a picnic table, tent pad, and ground fire ring. Potable water is available at a central location within the park. Vault toilets are located near the park entrance. Each site will accommodate up to 8 people. There is a 14 day camping limit. Campers without a reservation must check in for Tejas Park at the Russell Park gatehouse.
