Facility Closure Report
The following facilities
are closed due to flooding conditions/damages, seasonal closures, maintenance
and construction activities, low lake levels, etc:

| Aquilla | All Facilities are open |
| Bardwell | Love and Mott Parks are currently closed for the winter season. They are scheduled to reopen 1 April 2012. The boat ramp at Love Park is normally open year round, however due to extreme low water levels this boat ramp is currently closed. High View Park Campground and Day Use Areas are closed 1 October 2011 – 29 February 2012. The boat ramp (gates are open 6 am - 10 pm daily) and marina areas are still open. Only the outer two lanes are open and usable. Due to extreme low water levels boaters should use caution when launching from High View Park boat ramp, may be unsuitable for launching large boats. Contact marina at 972-646-5330 for days and time they are open for the winter season. Both boat ramps located in Waxahachie Creek Park are closed due to extreme low water levels. Little Mustang Creek boat ramp is closed due to low lake levels. The Multi-Use trails are subject to closure depending upon weather condtions, especially after heavy rainfall. Contact the lake office for current trail information. |

| Canyon | – The following parks are closed for the Winter Season Each Year (October 1 - March 31): North Park, Canyon Park, Canyon Beach and Comal Park. – Each December, parts of Potters Creek Park will be closed for seasonal wildlife management practices. Check with the lake office for the current dates and closure information for the park. – Cranes Mill Park is closed for renovations until further notice. –Hancock Trail is subject to closure depending upon current weather conditions. When it has been raining and the parking area is muddy, the trail will be closed and gated . –Due to low lake levels and current seasonal park closures, the following boat ramps are closed: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18, 22, 23. |
| Cooper | There are currently no closures at Cooper Lake. |
| Georgetown | All boat docks and fishing docks are closed due to low lake levels. . Russell Park swimming beach is closed due to low lake levels. Jim Hogg park lower camping loop (sites 1-78) is closed for construction. |
| Granger | Wilson Fox Park is closed due to park construction until the middle of May. Taylor Park will remain open for the winter for camping. The boat ramps at Friendship and Willis Creek are closed due to low water levels. The courtesy dock at Taylor Park is closed due to low water level. The primitive campground is closed until further notice due to extreme drought conditions. |

Katie's Woods High Water Boat Ramp is currently closed. Meadowmere Low Water Boat Ramp is currently closed. |
Hords Creek |
FLATROCK PARK: Flatrock will remain closed until May 1, 2012. FRIENDSHIP DAY USE PARK: Friendship is currently open. This includes 1 boat LAKESIDE PARK: Lakeside park remains open year round. However, all three SWIM BEACHES: All swim beaches are currently closed at Hords Creek. Hords Creek Lake is currently under a "No Wake Policy" due to low lake

Joe Pool |
There are currently no closures at Joe Pool Lake. |
| Lake O the Pines | Closures due to low water: Johnson Creek Campground boat ramp |
| Lavon Lake | As of 1600 on 28 Oct 2011, all boat ramps at Lavon are closed with the exception of Little Ridge Park. These closures include the ramps at Collin Park as well. The following parks are closed due to low water: Brattonia |
| Lewisville Lake | Eastern half of Westlake Park due to construction. All of Oakland Park due to construction. |
| O.C. Fisher | All ramps are unusable due to low lake levels, except for the one nearest the dam where small boats can be launched. All other facilities open. |

Pecan Point Park - Closed
All other parks and ramps are currently open. |
| Proctor | COPPERAS CREEK PARK: East side of park and reservations are closed for the season until April 1, 2012.
SOWELL CREEK PARK: Loops 4, 5 and reservations are closed for the season until April 1, 2012.
PROMONTORY PARK: Park is closed from October 1, 2011 until April 1, 2012.
HIGH POINT PARK: This park is permanently closed. Day use horse and hiking trail parking allowed at the main entrance. |

| Sam Rayburn |
Due to low water levels, the following boat ramps are temporarily closed: Etoile Park, Marion Ferry, Ralph McAllister, and Montery Boat Ramps. Mill Creek Park boat ramp has reopened to small vessels only. |
| Stillhouse Hollow | Facility closures as of 12-20-11: - All Courtesy and fishing docks on Stillhouse Lake are unusable due to low water conditions. - Designated Beach areas at Union Grove camp area, Stillhouse Park and Dana Peak Park |
| Somerville | Yegua Creek Park is closed for construction. All boat ramps are closed except for Lake Somerville Marina, and Rocky Creek Park. |
| Town Bluff Dam/B.A. Steinhagen Lake | All boat ramps are now open. Magnolia Ridge Park, Sandy Creek Park and Martin Dies, Jr. State Park are fully operational. Campers Cove camping area will remain closed until further notice. |
| Waco | -Currently closed due to low lake levels: All other boat ramps are open, but use caution. Seasonal Closures - scheduled to re-open in Spring 2012: |
