Drought conditions continue to persist and we ask for our help to obey the law and not bring fireworks.

Per Title 36, Chapter 111, Part 327.13

The use and possession of fireworks or firearms of any form on federal property is prohibited and illegal.

DO NOT bring fireworks or your guns to the lake property/shoreline or parks.

This includes all 80+ miles of shoreline and all the parks, land and water we manage from upstream on the Guadalupe River near Rebecca Creek Road to down stream below the dam near the community center on South Access Road.

Anyone found with fireworks or weapons will be asked to remove them from the area.

Anyone found shooting them will be given a citation and possible jail time depending upon the extent of the offence.

Water Safety

Obeying the law can help you return home safely.

Having your life jacket is not a suggestion it is the law.

Wear your life jacket to be legal and alive.
