Annual Day-Use Passes
The Annual Day-Use Pass (ADUP) hang tag is available for a $30.00 fee. You will receive a hang tag with your purchase month and year on it. This goes on your cars rear view mirror. The ADUP covers entrance to Day Use only areas of any U.S. Army Corps of Engineers parks and is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Golden Age/Access and America the Beautiful pass discounts can apply if you have one of these passes prior to purchasing your ADUP. The ADUP permits you to use the boat ramps, picnic areas, swim beaches, etc. without paying an additional fee at any Day Use area of any U.S. Army Corps of Engineers parks.
Annual Day-Use Passes are available for purchase at Canyon Lake at Comal Park and Canyon Park Beach gate houses only. You can also purchase them at other U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lakes and use them here at Canyon Lake.
The Annual Day-Use Pass is non-transferable. You can not give it to someone else. Abuse of the ADUP may get you removed from the park for the day. One pass per vehicle.

Golden Age Passports will no longer be issued as of 1 Jan 2007. The Senior Pass under the America the Beautiful Pass Program (see information below) replaces the Golden Age Passport. Previously issued Golden Age Passport's will continue to be honored for the lifetime of the pass holder.

Golden Access Passports will no longer be issued as of 1 Jan 2007. The Access Pass under the America the Beautiful Pass Program (see information below) replaces the Golden Access Passport. Previously issued Golden Access Passport's will continue to be honored for the lifetime of the pass holder.

Senior Pass (beginning January 1, 2007)*
The Senior Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are age 62 or older. There is a one-time charge of $10 for this lifetime pass. The pass provides free entrance to most federal recreation areas and provides a 50% discount on use fees, such as camping fees.
Senior Passes are available at FWS, NPS, BLM and USDA FS locations. You will need to show proof of age (such as a driver's license or identification card) to obtain a Golden Age Passport.
The pass is non-transferable.

*The passage of the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act of 2004 created a new discount program for Federal agencies called the America the Beautiful Interagency Pass Program. This new program is scheduled to be implemented on 1 January 2007. While the legislation did not authorize the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers full involvement in this new pass program, our agency will honor America the Beautiful pass holder with a 50 percent reduction of user fees at Corps recreation facilities, including day use and camping fees. Our agency, however, is not authorized to sell or otherwise issue passed used for this new program.

Access Pass (beginning January 1, 2007)*
The Access Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have a permanent disability. The pass is free and is good for life. It provides free entrance to most federal recreation areas and provides a 50% discount on use fees, such as camping fees.
