Corps Supports Military Service Members

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will waive all day use and camping fees for active service personnel and DoD civilians on mid or post deployment (reintegration) leave from duty. The intent is to recognize the selfless service of these individuals to our nation and the world by allowing them a chance to relax and spend time with those they love.

Active service personnel and DOD civilians on leave will be required to show official identification and leave orders upon arrival at the camp grounds to obtain the waiver. The leave orders MUST be for the time they are presented and not outdated. The gate attendant must see your DOD ID and leave orders and varify them before you can receive a waiver.

The waiver we provide you will apply to all family members accompanying you on that visit. The waiver will be applied to daily use fees and camping fees. Fees will can be waived on walk-up sites and for reservations made by calling the NRRS call center. Camping and day use fees, however, can NOT be waived for on-line reservations made through Recreation.gov.

State, local and other managing entities of recreation areas located on Corps lands are encouraged, but are not required to comply with this waiver of fees in the areas they manage.
