National Public Lands Day

Saturday, 21 September 2013

Annual Event when volunteers from around the nation come together in a common cause to help support the beautification and improvement of the state and national parks. Over 270 Volunteer hours were donated and every effort of service was greatly appreciated.

The pictures are set up in to categories. Each category represents one of the projects the volunteers worked. The category 'Post_Project" represents pictures taken of the projects after everyone left for the day. The category "After1stRain" represents the erosion control that was built and how it stood up to 2+ inches of rain in one day. The rain happened the week after the event. The erosion control worked great and helped to catch alot of debris that washed down hill. Great Job Volunteers on the trails and erosion control!
