Boating at Benbrook Lake

Benbrook Lake has boat-launching ramps in all parks and at both marinas. These boat ramps are concrete and have from one to three lanes. Courtesy docks are available at several of the ramps. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of any boat ramp or courtesy dock. Fishing is not allowed from the courtesy docks. A low speed "No Wake" zone is enforced for all boat ramps. Boat ramps are available year round, however if the lake level falls too low, ramps may not be usable. All boat ramps require a $3.00 fee or possession of an Annual Pass for access, except in Longhorn Park.  Fees for ramp use at the two Marinas may differ from the fees in the Corps of Engineers parks. Paid campers have priority for ramps located in campgrounds, however day-users may use campground ramps proved parking is available, and the user does not use the shoreline or camping facilities for day use activies such as picnicking or swimming.
